Ordering
Placing an order for goods on this website indicates your acceptance of my terms and conditions. All communication to you from Blue Hare jewellery will be addressed to your email address as supplied, by you, when you register.
Once you have placed an order with me, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order where I will ask you to verify that all details of the order are correct.
Please check your junk folder!
If you do not receive a confirmation email after registering or placing an order please contact me immediately.
You should notify me immediately of any amendments you wish to make. Please take note of necklace lengths and ring sizes.
I aim to post stock item within 3 working days.
Items are sent by recorded second class post and will require a signature on delivery.
Postage is free for mainland UK only.
Items can be sent by recorded, next day delivery at a cost of £7.40. Please contact me.
The lead time for commissions and bespoke items will differ, depending on the complexity, which will be discussed when the order is requested. A 50% deposit is required at ordering on bespoke items.
Please bear in mind that hallmarking can add up to 14 days to this lead time. This is, unfortunately, out of my hands.
If you have a specific date in mind please contact me and I will do my best to meet this deadline for you.
I cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery caused by postal delays and strike action by postal services.
Whilst all items are offered for sale in good faith, occasionally, for reasons beyond my control, I may not be able to fulfil your order. Therefore a sale agreement will only exist between yourself and Blue Hare Jewellery when you receive an email confirming your order has been dispatched. If for any reason your item is unavailable, I will contact you to offer you a substitute, or refund your payment.
I reserve the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time, so you should check this page regularly to take note of any changes.
Cancelling your order
You may cancel your order anytime during the online ordering process before you have confirmed payment details.
You do not need to give any reason for cancellation, although, I welcome constructive feedback, so a brief explanation will help me to improve the service I offer to you and other customers in the future.
Returns
If you change your mind about your purchase, please contact me by email at claire.walsh@blueharejewellery.co.uk.
Once your email is acknowledged please return the unused goods in there original packaging, to me with the original receipt within 14 days and I will offer you an exchange or full refund. All return postage is paid by the buyer.
I strongly advise you to return the jewellery by a traceable delivery system such as special delivery.
Due to health and hygiene reasons we cannot accept the return of earrings, unless faulty.
Personalised items are none returnable, unless faulty.
Bespoke commissions are none returnable, unless faulty.

This Store, Blue Hare Jewellery and www.blueharejewellery.co.uk are owned and operated by Claire Walsh.
The privacy of my users is extremely important to me and therefore I encourage all users to read this policy very carefully because it contains important information regarding:

Make a purchase from my store.
Fill out one of my contact forms or subscribe to a mailing list.

In the event that I need to obtain personal information in relation to you from any other source than those described above, I shall notify you of this.

Your personal information will generally be processed to provide you with my services. I am also required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for 7 years.

I have described above the purposes for which I may process your personal information. These purposes will at all times be justified by UK data protection law.

The lawful basis upon which I am able to process your personal data are:

I am required to enter into a formal legal agreement to enable such sharing to take place.
I do not anticipate that I will need to share your personal information with any third party. I will notify you, should this position change.
How long your personal information will be kept.
Your personal information will only be kept for the period of time which is necessary for us to fulfil the above purposes.
I envisage that your personal information shall be retained by me for 7 years. After this period, your information shall be properly deleted or anonymised.

My site uses a tool which is based on the Snowplow Analytics technology to collect information about your use of the site. The tool collects information such as how often users access the site, which pages they visit when they do so, etc. The tool does not collect any Personal Information and is only used by my site hosting and operating service provider to improve the site and services.
