Firstly to reticulate the pendant, I have heated it up to almost melting point, then cooled and cleaned it. I have repeated this process a further nine times. This results in the unique texture visible, this occurs as the copper content of the silver is burnt off, leaving a fine silver layer.
The pendant is 20mm by 8mm. The chain is approximately 17" long.
Due to the nature of reticulation no two pieces will ever be the same, which I really like!
All my jewellery is solid silver and I am registered at the Birmingham Assay office.
Silver items weighing less than 7.78g do not legally require hallmarking.
